Grew up in Texas and began writing at an early age. I set all my writing aside to raise my children and came back to my first love at the age of 40. I now have four wonderful adult children and a dream I am currently pursuing. I have two books I have self-published and am currently working on a third in the series. I also have several in the works. I have one that is almost completed that I will be submitting to agents. I am active in NaNoWriMo, FB, Twitter, and my own website. Please check me out.

This last book I wrote for NaNoWriMo literally wrote itself. I told my husband and daughter throughout the book where I thought it was going and it went in another direction which was much better than what I expected. Very rarely do I take command and alter a book I'm writing. (less)

I have always enjoyed writing since I was a little girl but only recently picked it up again. I regret that I didn't keep up with it. I love creating and telling a story that only I can tell. That has been given to me to give to others. (less)

Motivation!

During my creative outpouring while on our cruise, I was listening to Daniel play the guitar and sing songs. I had my head down during most of his session because of all the words that came pouring out of me onto the notepad. As I was writing, he sang a song about being someone's support and being there for the girl. I found out later the song was "I'll Be" by Edwin McCain. It is a beautiful song.
