Aaron Gulyas is a historian, historian, and associate professor of history at Mott Community College in Flint, Michigan, where he teaches where he teaches all manner of courses, as well as serving as a part-time educational technonlogy consulttant for the college's Professional Development office.

His first book, Extraterrestrials and the American Zeitgeist: Alien Contact Tales Since the 1950s was published by McFarland Books in May 2013. He also contributed the introduction to Posthuman Blues: Dispatches From a World on the Cusp of Terminal Dissolution, a collection of writings by the late Mac Tonnies edited by Paul Kimball and published by Redstar Books.
