Eiain lives in Ainsdale with his husband, Mark, their two dogs, Harper and Mazikeen, and a flock of 18 chickens.

A lifelong writer, Eiain has been contributing to Sussex University’s Mass Observation Archive since 2008. He is an avid reader and dedicated chicken breeder.

“I’ve been writing stories and poetry since my teens,” Eiain shares. “My mum, Diane, a passionate reader, encouraged me to read as much as I could. In my late teens, I experimented with various forms of poetry and even wrote an epic poem called Life in a Foreign Concept. It was designed to be read forwards, and then backwards, line by line, offering a completely different perspective.
