Whether the reader is a practising psychoanalyst, psychotherapist or psychologist, a non-practising academic psychoanalysis scholar, or just an 'interested' person in the street. Psychoanalytic theory is applied to children, individuals, couples, families, groups, companies, organisations and combined with other psychological approaches such as mainstream clinical psychology and forensic psychology practised in the National Health Service.
