Parham Gohari is a writer and global professional whose life has been shaped by displacement, migration, and long-term travel. Born in Iran, he left the country as a child refugee during the Iran–Iraq War in 1987. He was smuggled out of the country at age eleven by his father, a military doctor, using forged passports and a network of human smugglers. What followed was a childhood and adolescence shaped by refugee shelters, poverty, silence, and reinvention. He eventually resettled in Canada, where he grew up navigating multiple cultural identities.
