Thanks. I'm travelling a great deal right now so e-books are the thing. Used to lug around hard copies then have to find a second hand bookstore that sold English titles to top up (I quite often read a book-a-day)and it all just got to be too much, so I jumped to the dark side. No question, but just to let you know that I had a tear when you mentioned Stollery's in When Hell Freezes Over. I just can't believe it's gone! One more iconic establishment bites the dust in our city. Hm-m-m - the program tells me I need a question mark, so here it is????? cybercrone

With what they must have gotten for the lot, why stay in business. I also was quite upset with the way the new owner tore it down. I can see why he did it (to protect his investment from the "building huggers") but it was a very sleazy move. Like when CP "accidentally" tore down the Toronto West train station in The Junction.
