No question, but just to let you know that I had a tear when you mentioned Stollery's in When Hell Freezes Over. I just can't believe it's gone! One more iconic establishment bites the dust in our city. Hm-m-m - the program tells me I need a question mark, so here it is????? cybercrone

I shopped there many times and while a building that size on that particular street corner certainly had its days numbered, I was sorry to see it go -- but more sorry to see the business closed. With what they must have gotten for the lot, why stay in business. I also was quite upset with the way the new owner tore it down. I can see why he did it (to protect his investment from the "building huggers") but it was a very sleazy move. Like when CP "accidentally" tore down the Toronto West train station in The Junction.
Thanks for getting in touch! Sorry it took me so long to get around to answering. And thanks VERY much for reading my novels!! Hope you enjoyed WHFO. I had a great time writing it.

Thanks. I'm travelling a great deal right now so e-books are the thing. Used to lug around hard copies then have to find a second hand bookstore that sold English titles to top up (I quite often read a book-a-day)and it all just got to be too much, so I jumped to the dark side. Perhaps when things settle down, hopefully by late spring, I could take you up on your offer?
