"Right, so- several weeks ago i had a dream in which i was searching for a Rumi book. The next morning I had my usual Tuesday appointment with my therapist (bless 🙌🏻) and SHE BROUGHT UP RUMI. Specifically his poem “The Guesthouse” (iykyk). Soo obviously I had to go to the library and look for some Rumi!! I came away with this book and it doesn’t have The Guesthouse lolol so it’s slow going so far." — Jan 22, 2026 09:38AM

"I am taking my time with this one, and savoring each essay.
It’s worth noting that I am often overwhelmed by the marvels of birds and by how much they mean to me. Therefore, reading each author’s experience of/with birding feels intimate. It’s emotional. Spacing out these essays is a form of self-care. Go me! My therapist would be so proud." — Dec 03, 2025 09:24PM
