Gail Gray is an American writer, editor and publisher. She is known for her writings in the magical realism, dark fantasy and horror fields and is the author of a magical realism/dark fantasy novel, Shaman Circus (ATTM Press) and two collections of dark fantasy/horror short stories, Dark Voices and Memories and Monsters.

Gray is the owner of Shadow Archer Press where she is editor of Fissure, a magazine of experimental art and writing. Formerly, she edited The Howling, a goth literary magazine.

In addition to fiction, she's the author of five of poetry: The Hazard of Waking Up, Spirals in Copper, Planetary Tensions and Eye on the Universe, Storms At The Edge.

Textile Town Paintings

written 11\11\2015 My latest series is based on my personal history. For a long time I've thought of textile mills as being beautiful architectural structures. Once many of them closed, I've viewed them in a more poignant view, nostalgic, I guess of a simpler, albeit, hardworking time.
