Samuel Beckett
“Nothing is funnier than unhappiness, I grant you that… Yes, yes, it's the most comical thing in the world. And we laugh, we laugh, with a will, in the beginning. But it's always the same thing. Yes, it's like the funny story we have heard too often, we still find it funny, but we don't laugh any more.”
Samuel Beckett, Endgame

Mike I'm with you, Beth. Still, even if I only pick up one or two recommendations from Jon and his crew of highly literate, qualified critics, it will be a good thing. He hasn't steered me wrong yet, so I'll try this newfangled thing. Jon, thanks for including me. I think this internet thing might be more than a fad.

Beth i feel like such an ignorant high school student looking at all the books you've read, reviewed, and are going to read. especially since the majority of my reading has revolved around the harry potter books. preeettttyyy lame if you ask me.
