Born in the South East and transplanted Oop North by her parents in 1987, Bec still sounds like she lives in the wilds of Surrey.

Then nothing happened to her until she met and fell in love with Neil.

Seriously. I mean, obviously, she went to school and had jobs and met some seriously awesome people but life didn't begin until she met, was friends with (for 4 years) and then got drunk with Neil. Then there was the moving in with him and his furry monster (Jack, a dog - get your mind out of the gutter); a proposal, an organising of a wedding; a wedding; a honeymoon in Mexico and the marriage.

Bec now lives a deliriously happy life and is a writer.

The violence and the tenderness are evident in spades on these pages. Nothing is written without an almost overwhelming passion and I am here for it!

I hope there are more from the Dark Forces universe in the future as I am making space on my shelves

This author knows how to make me kick my feet with glee! The dark characters and seeing are exactly my jam and I live for the horrendous pain she puts them through.

Racing to the next one now!

“Whenever I talk to anyone I care about, I am always seeking approval. There is always a pleading lilt in my voice that demands love. Even the people I work with, the ones I am supposed to have a professional relationship with, all business, get pulled into my need. I can't help it. I want to be adored.”
