I was born in Texas and moved to rural Wisconsin when I was ten, but I still display a slight southern accent when I get angry or really excited. While growing up in Wisconsin I lived with my mother and twin sister across the street from my grandparents. It truly was a blessing growing up surrounded by such a loving and supportive family. I attended the same high school as my mother and grandfather and like them, I graduated as the Salutatorian of my class. After high school I attended one of the largest universities in the nation, Michigan State University, and graduated with honors with a degree in plant biology.
