Beth Brown is also the author of Threads, a novel that follows Ellis Bell as she visits parallel timelines in an effort to find the parents she lost ten years ago. What Ellis learns along the way is not what she expected.

Beth lives in South Florida with her husband and her two children. She loves walking the beach and having her dog Taffy at her side as she writes.

But when you feel that frustrating feeling of writer's block, the best way to get past it is to write. Write anything. Just start typing. Copy text from a book sitting near by. Type up everything you've done today. Just ramble. If you give in to writer's block it will control you. The best way to relax a writer's mind is to write. Just like a concert pianist who warms up by playing the scales, the same scales she or he has played a thousand times before, warming up for a writer means to write--write basic things to get the brain moving toward the creative.
