Shara is an accomplished singer/songwriter/recording artist/freelance writer/award-winning author and part of the Christian Country Music duo, Pony Express Ministry. She, her husband Bruce and their two horses, Rocky and Nocona (a.k.a. The Boys) live full-time "on the road." Traversing the countryside in their fourteen-foot, short-wall, three-stall, living quarters horse trailer, they travel and minister wherever God sends them.

Shara Bueler-Repka First, I make a “to do” list of all the physical stuff I need to do for the day and maybe the next: laundry, dishes, cleaning corrals, etc. Then, I st…moreFirst, I make a “to do” list of all the physical stuff I need to do for the day and maybe the next: laundry, dishes, cleaning corrals, etc. Then, I start writing. As soon as I start feeling like I’m slogging through mud, I get up and accomplish one of the things on my “to do” list. It works great in two ways: 1) I give my brain a break. And, quite often, when I get back to my computer, I’ll already have the exact words I was looking for before I got up. 2) I get my chores done and don’t feel guilty about writing all day.(less)
