After the Excitement
For as long as I can remember, I dreamed of publishing a book. I've been writing since I was in second grade. My best friend--Aaron--and I would compete for the literary affection of our seven-and-eight-year-old peers. Thankfully, we had an awesome teacher (Mrs. Lawrason) who encouraged us by allowing us to read our stories to the class.

This was a much longer book than I was anticipating, but I did enjoy it. Of course, hill has his father’s gift for gorgeous descriptions and layered, real characters. Christmasland sounds like a joyous nightmare! |
