Raul Medrano is a former U.S. Army Sergeant who served more than seven years on active duty as a 13F Fire Support Specialist / Forward Observer. After leaving the Army, Raul earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business and a Master of Business Administration in San Francisco, California.

As a qualified Joint Fires Observer, he deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom with 1st Platoon, Bravo Company, 3rd Battalion, 7th Infantry Regiment (Cottonbalers), 3rd Infantry Division.
