Shelf Indulgence Book Community Welcome to Shelf Indulgence Book Community, a community for curious readers who believe nonfiction books can challeng Shelf Indulgence Book Community Welcome to Shelf Indulgence Book Community, a community for curious readers who believe nonfiction books can challenge our thinking, expand our perspective, and inspire meaningful conversations. We focus exclusively on nonfiction books across a variety of subjects, including personal development, memoirs, business, leadership, history, psychology, society, spirituality, science, and other thought-provoking works. Our community is built around three things: reading, discussion, and connection. We select nonfiction books that we believe will spark meaningful conversations among our readers. Once a book is selected, we introduce it to the community and allow interested readers to explore it together. When a book resonates with our community, we reach out to the author and invite them to join us for a live author discussion. This allows our readers to ask questions, share their thoughts, and engage directly with the person behind the book. Our sessions are designed to go beyond simply finishing a book. We want to explore the ideas, experiences, lessons, questions, and perspectives within each work and create an environment where readers can learn from one another. What You Can Expect Nonfiction Reading Sessions Discover and explore carefully selected nonfiction books with fellow readers. Meaningful Discussions Share your perspective, ask questions, and hear how other readers interpret the book. Live Author Conversations When an author joins us, readers get the opportunity to interact with them directly and discuss their work. Learning & Discovery Encounter ideas and experiences that can challenge your thinking and broaden your understanding. A Community of Readers Connect with people who genuinely enjoy reading, learning, and having thoughtful conversations. Whether you're an experienced nonfiction reader or simply looking for your next meaningful read, you're welcome here. Read deeply. Think freely. Connect meaningfully. ...more
