She remembers being in the woods one time with two others. Something about this frightened her, so she ran away. When she tripped over a rotten log, a large spider ran across it. She screamed, and the others laughed. Eventually, she made it back to the house.

She believes this happened at the lake house that was sold when she was three, but some have assured her that the house did not look like that and the event never took place.

A couple years ago I wanted something really badly, and when I prayed, or sent my desire out into the Universe, or whatever you like to call it, I promised I would give up writing if this thing would come to be, if that was the price. And I didn't write for a long time after that. Whether I was trying to prove my intentions, or whether the Universe was testing me, or what, I don't know. Anyway, I didn't get the thing I wanted (although I still have hopes). And I did start writing again after a year or so. What I learned is, I'm not myself when I'm not writing, and giving up my core self to attain something isn't a fair trade. I wouldn't be the person I was when I made the wish in the first place, and so I wouldn't value the granting of the wish as much. So, no. I wouldn't do it. As for what I'd do for a living...probably go back to radio. I was a DJ for fifteen years, and sometimes I miss it.(less)

They have more toppings and sauces than any other pizza place I've ever been, including an amazing pesto. My favourite pizza to order from them had pesto, fresh spinach, feta cheese, fresh tomato, and roasted garlic. So that's the pizza I'd be.(less)

Hello.

If you follow this blog, you may have noticed it’s been a really long time since I’ve posted anything.  There are several reasons for this. One of them is that I inherited some money when my mother passed away, and that’s allowed us to take a step out of the grinding poverty in which we’d been living for so long. I found that without the stress of poverty, I was a lot less angry all the t
