Christian Ramirez (Chris DeSalvo) is an independent writer and filmmaker based in Southern California. His work is rooted in character-driven storytelling, often exploring memory, secrecy, identity, and the quiet moments where people confront who they really are.

He is the creator of The Late Hour, a dark, atmospheric story universe that began as an urban suspense anthology series (Stories for the Insomniac). The series focuses on overlooked lives, late-night confessions, and the tension between what we show the world and what we hide from it.

Back at It

It’s been a minute since I’ve posted here.

I won’t sugarcoat it—my last book fair didn’t go the way I hoped. Low turnout, slow sales, one of those days where you pack up and wonder what you could’ve done differently. If you’ve ever put your work out there, you know that feeling. It sticks with you on the drive home.
