Marina is a Greek writer and artist based in Normandy, France, where she breeds horses with her husband. She has been writing since childhood and has had a number of short stories published and now her debut novel, Marguerite, a Regency Romance. She also writes mysteries and a blog called “Letters from Athens”. She is an artist and a member of a local artists’ association, which holds regular workshops. In her spare time she likes to read, ride and walk the dogs (a huge ridgeback and a tiny dachshund) while mulling over tricky plot problems.

An amusing coincidence

Some years ago, while rooting around an antiques shop in Suffolk, we came upon an amusing little painting of six officers in red coats, seen from the back, with a small dog peeping between their legs. We bought it for the modest sum of, if I remember well, £20, and it is now on the wall of our coatroom.

I must admit it is a very good copy, down to the last detail
