I was raised in Brooklyn New York where I remember the times of the 70's and how things were different than what they are today. I also grew up in a home with a mother that suffered from mental depression. I'm a firm believer in my faith in God and know that people can change only if they want too. There were good and bad days, but I and my siblings had to learn to depend on one another.My book expresses the hardship of growing up and dealing with life obstacles and situations that are sometimes out of your control. I received my BA in Communications in May of 2008 from New Rochelle College. I am now working on my Masters in Creative Writing and a Minister at Greater Faith Temple Church in Bronx, New York. Where is the secret place for your inspiration?

My secret place depends on where my feet or mind take me. Most of the time I find a nice quiet spot where I can listen to music and watch the trees blow and the sky move.
