I’ve walked an unusual path—optometrist, artist, life model, Father Christmas, and seeker. Each role has peeled back another layer, revealing a deeper thread of presence that now shapes my writing.

My journey began with a restless thirst for travel. In the early 1990s, during a season of leaving one life behind and stepping into another, a quiet encounter with the elephant-headed god Ganesha marked a turning point. What started as wanderlust became a pilgrimage of inner discovery—through beauty, intensity, silence, and shadow, including years in a demanding spiritual community.
