A graduate in history, Mr. Wilkin has been writing in various genres for twenty five years. He came to the study of the Regency through the enjoyment of the dance of the period which he later taught for over ten years. Combining his training with his enjoyment of the period has led Mr. Wilkin to have written several Regency era historicals.

“A man is the sum of his actions.”

“As long as freedom is paid for in the blood of others, I can truly say it is a commodity that has great value to me. If it was my blood that was taxed for it... Socialism, Dictatorship, Communism--basically living cowardism would be fine by me.”

“Dancing isn't everything. But if you do it while you still can move, I guarantee that you'll have a hell of a good time. And look at it this way, wouldn't you rather dance while you are able, than find yourself unable to dance later--wishing that you could.”
