During almost 20 years as an editor, proofreader, and journalist, I have written and polished thousands of stories about real people. However, the characters amassed in my imagination demanded to be released onto the page, so I have turned to writing fiction.

My first book, The Policeman of Secrets, pits the roguish Count Balthazar against a secret society. My second, the heroic fantasy The Mischief of Rats, tells of a desperate father's search for his kidnapped children in a city 100 storeys tall.

I work as a freelance editor and proofreader - for details of how I may be able to help you, visit I Can Edit That. For information about my books and short stories, please visit my author site. ...more
