The other side of the Reminders
"Dancing in Hijab..”
That was the title of a lecture I accidentally came across. The lecture carried a valuable reminder. It also included videos of hijabi women dancing for reference.
The lecture was good. But... a question stayed with me.
Was including those videos really necessary?
I don't think so.
The reminder could have reached us without exposing those girls to countless more eye
