Joan Moran is the author of nine books spanning crime fiction, memoir and nonfiction. Her latest novel Up From Hell: Echoes of the Past Crimes in Central Texas Book 1 is a gritty Texas crime thriller and the first book in the Crimes in Central Texas trilogy. Available now on Amazon, Apple Books, Barnes and Noble, Kobo and Google Play. Her last book is an historical memoir called, Suddenly Jewish: The Life and Times of My Jewish Mother.

Joan holds two master's degrees in Theater and Education. She founded the Meadows Playhouse, Las Vegas's first year-round professional theater and received the Governor's Award for Distinguished Excellence in Theater in Nevada.
