It is, it's an amazing feeling when someone buys your book for the first time. It's kind of like selling your soul, but without the one-way trip to Hell. You authors out there know what I mean. You put something on paper that comes from your heart and brain, and someone wants to read it. It takes years, sometimes, to organize and write a book. You labor and agonize over it. Doubts, writers block, procrastination, you name it, we go through it. Then it's done and it's out there for public consumption. What a rush. So, the book will be on Amazon soon, but it's on Kindle and you can get it free, for a limited time, on Smashwords for free with this code, PW42C. I'd appreciate a review either on Amazaon.com, or on Smashwords.
God Bless and take care
Elizabeth
I just finished Twisted by Laurie Halse Anderson. It's insanely good. It's a YA book about a teenage boy, tyler, who is in trouble. Just like most teens, he's trying to fit in. It starts off with him on probation for spray painting graffiti on the school. He figured he'd be considered a hero for this. So now he's doing community service by taring the school roof and digging holes for a landscaping business in between visits to his parole officer. He's got the hots for a girl out of his league. She just happens to be the daughter of Tyler's father's boss and her brother has been bullying Tyler all through school. But due to all the strenuous labor Tyler has been forced to do, he's bulked up.
The girl becomes interested in Tyler and they go to a big party. She gets waisted and tries to seduce Tyler who decides to do the proper thing and not take advantage of her. She blows him off and disappears for a long time. Tyler drives her and her brother home because they are too drunk to walk.
Long story short, Tyler gets in trouble for taking pictures of her in various stages of dress.
Tyler has issues with his father as well, but I'll leave the rest for you guys to find out.
Hello Elizabeth and thank you so much for the kind invitation. Warmest regards to you and best of luck with your project!

Ug, I'm pulling my hair out. You know those little naggers that stop you in your tracks? Who lives? How can I make this more dramatic? Is this too dramatic? When do I reveal? In what order do I write the last scenes? That's where I'm at. I'm afraid it's going to take me as long to finish the four or five last chapters as it did to get this far.Are you sorry you asked now?

I just finished Dean Koontz's book, "From the Corner of his Eye," It's sooo good and touches every emotion. It's a world with one very bad phycho and two prodigy children, one of them the product of a rape by the phycho. The rape is implied, not described. Koontz passes between real and fantasy seemlessly. From cover to cover it grabs you.
