I was born in Ireland and raised in England, completing my education in Plymouth, Devon.

Soon after leaving school, I moved with my family to Australia, where I lived on-and-off for thirty years before returning to the UK.

In Australia I have worked in tourism, as a photographer, and a radio presenter.

Writing has always been my passion, and my first published article was for Star! magazine (Sydney) in 1997.

I have been lucky to visit many countries such as the USA and Singapore. I have explored many fine cities, and have an affection for South East Asia and her culture.

Yet, in all my travels, Plymouth is still very close to my heart.
