I was born in Milan in 1987. After completing my master studies in Medical Biotechnology and Molecular Medicine, in 2012 I moved to Stockholm, where I met my current partner. In 2016, I became a father for the first time, and received a PhD in Medical Science at Karolinska Institute. The following year we moved to Helsinki, where I worked as a researcher in tumour genetics at the university and, in 2021, my second daughter was born. In 2022 we returned to Sweden, this time to Gothenburg, where I started working as a senior scientist in gene therapy. In my spare time, I take care of a science blog, and I tried my hand at writing.
