I started writing a diary when I was 9 years old. Then, when I was 14, I made a 40,000 word fanfiction of Alice in Wonderland as my friend mad another one - right when the movie came out. Since then, I've stuck to Wattpad, though I've been a top writer on Quora and have written a ton of poetry (not all published.) I am still very young, but I hope to continue to push the envelope in my stories with defying genre conventions, including more male characters for female characters, and writing in different, if not strange, elements in my stories for a more unique picture of life. ...more

I analyze and analyze until I can't help but burst and write. It's a good reliever of emotions. I like to be able to look back on my works as a sense of accomplishment due to whatever I'm going through or learning at the time. A lot of the time - producing a new work is a result of a major life change, intellectual overload, or emotional release. So, usually whenever I write, it's needed. I can get whatever is out of me, and then move on with my life. It stays on, however, as a record. As if none of it was truly in vain. (less)

There are the writers that spurn out content, and there are the writers that are so dedicated to their story/poem that they will go through multiple revisions without deciding on which one. If you put your story out there, you will be encouraged to write another one.

Or authors will decide their story is too similar to another's. Listen, you can give credit where it is due. You can say what inspired you to write it. There is a saying that there are a certain number of stories in the world, and a lot of it is recreation.

Also, that whole "resemblance to persons living is coincidental thing," throw it out the window. I get that you want to make an original character, but the best characters and stories are based off truths in real life. You don't have to make the next Star Wars - you can make a space opera with your own personal experiences. It may not fit what is acceptable by a publishing company for their quota, but the right people will come and recognize your talent. (less)

Slightly ridiculous / instant-love story with a twisted, suspenseful ending. A great way to end the entire series!

I liked it but it wasn’t amazing. I think using her own experiences ended up pretty lacking because we cannot be an accurate judge of whether she’s codependent or not.

“They saw it on the news
Children sent out to school
To get a brighter future
Sent back
Dead

It's a common sight in America
So common
That the children of the 9/11 generation
Who grew up watching the Twin Towers fall
Now cannot feel anything but a sinking feeling of hopelessness”
bellatuscana, Pavo

“I love you Henry" whispered Queen Susan

She turned to the awed and frozen battle field.

"I love this man! I've always loved him! Help me before it's too late!"

"I'm sorry my pride got in the way of us. I should have told you the moment I saw you that I loved you" he said quietly.

"Henry? Do you remember who I am?"

His face grew silent and after the longest moment, he nodded and Queen Susan leaned in and gave him a kiss.

She started to cry and then everything went black.”
bellatuscana, Susan in Wonderland

“Soon, he brought her to the nicest restaurant he could find. Gave her a dozen roses, and an engagement ring.

"When I commit to someone, I really commit to them. I know now that there's nobody out there who I care about as much as I do you. There's no one I would rather spend my life with."

They kissed.

It's true then, they thought. You really can meet the perfect person and live happily ever after.”
bellatuscana, Finding Time

“She glared at him, feeling the old frustration. Sometimes in his presence she felt the deepest connection to him, and other times she felt completely alone-as though any bond to him was her own bitter imagination.”
Ann Brashares

“If we find ourselves with a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that we were made for another world.”
C.S. Lewis

“It is only a novel... or, in short, only some work in which the greatest powers of the mind are displayed, in which the most thorough knowledge of human nature, the happiest delineation of its varieties, the liveliest effusions of wit and humour, are conveyed to the world in the best-chosen language”
Jane Austen, Northanger Abbey

“Strange as it may seem, I still hope for the best, even though the best, like an interesting piece of mail, so rarely arrives, and even when it does it can be lost so easily.”
Lemony Snicket, The Beatrice Letters

“Read, read, read. Read everything -- trash, classics, good and bad, and see how they do it. Just like a carpenter who works as an apprentice and studies the master. Read! You'll absorb it.
Then write. If it's good, you'll find out. If it's not, throw it out of the window.”
William Faulkner
