Norah Evers grew up on a small farm with a loving family. She remembers rescuing animals of all kinds growing up, from cats and dogs to horses, goats, and rabbits. She always loved animals and planned on being a veterinarian ever since she was a small child. However, when she went off to college, she was called home before she could finish her degree to help take care of the family farm as her mother had taken ill. To help herself cope with her mother’s illness and sudden life change, she began to write. She realized how much she enjoyed writing and decided to take some creative writing courses at the local community college. It was then that Norah fell in love with writing as it helped her explore loss, faith and hope.
