I’m slowly getting irritated by the main character and the way the book is written. Even as an audiobook, it’s no better because over time the voice becomes extremely annoying und high-pitched. Warner's appearance is constantly being described as how great and handsome he is...we get it. Hardly anything happens in the story itself, and if we would skip the repeated descriptions of Warner's and Juliette's appearances, the book would be half as long. I already wanted to stop reading at the end of the previous book because I also got irritated that Juliette was constantly so insecure and whining. But at the end of the previous book she seemed more confident so I kept reading, but now she’s back to whining about how she can’t do anything. I can’t stand it anymore. Also why wouldn´t Juliette save her sister when she had the chance??? Why would she leave her there and then plan to go back for her later, when she knows how hard it is to get there?? It was so odd that she would make time for chatting with Kenji in the hallway for 10 minutes about how life is going und whining that she can’t fly away without Warner, who is also getting rescued by someone instead of helping her sister....
Can someone please tell me if it is worth continuing to read this series?...more
