I was born in 1967 - putting me into the old, but not ancient category. I graduated from high school in Dutchess county, NY and then embarked on a tour of some of the finest universities in NY that were in my price range.

Graduation included a degree in history and secondary education which, naturally, became a career in teaching social studies. I've been at it for over 30 years now and the last 10 have seen various roles in our teacher's union from building representative to union president.
