I am "The Eclectic Author" because life does not exist in just one genre. I read and write in many forms of literature. I am a late blooming writer because I spent my earlier years living the life I now often write about. I am a mother of eight, grandmother of eighteen (and counting) and wife of one incredible man.

I was in nursing for fourteen years, had a midlife crisis and went back to college for accounting, (at which I truly stunk), and now I'm a paralegal during the day, while I write all I can in the evenings and weekends.

My passion is writing and hope someday to make writing my way of life.

I have the opposite problem. I have so much to write, I don't have time for it all. When I do find myself stuck, I sound out family and friends. They often make useful suggestions, or at least some suggestions that get my own mind working again.

Way too much

For me this story was 3 times longer than necessary. Way too much (woe is me) internal dialogue. Reflections of the past was excessive. Author has potential, if she just sticks to the story.

Series trap

Once again, the author made this appear to be a stand alone, but turned it into a series, so you are forced into buying additional books. Will never read this author again. Author needs lessons on POV skills.

Series

I guess it's my fault for not noticing prior to reading this. I think authors who write series are cons. The story was also written as if the characters were young, not the seniors they were supposed to be. It would've been a great young adult

Good

This was well written. A few typos, but that's ok. I had a hard time with the premise that everyone in town confided with a librarian, the cops did what she told them, them sharing every aspect of the case, and allowed her free access to investig

Enjoyable

A few too many cliches and stereotype characters, but overall a real feel good story as promised. Heartwarming and sweet.
