I’ll be honest—I’m not great at writing about myself. (That’s why I write stories instead, right?) But here goes:

Roughly 98% of my life has been ordinary. I mean, I trained as an accountant, which should tell you everything. Spreadsheets and I never really clicked, so I jumped ship at the first chance and decided to take writing seriously.

That decision wasn’t all bad. Well . . . maybe at first, but before too long I could put food on the table. My first novel sold out its initial print run and was even optioned for a movie. (No, Hollywood never filmed it—but hey, a movie option is still bragging rights at a dinner party!)
