Vera Kasal is a storyteller whose imagination spins legends, history, and Czech folklore into spellbinding tales. She lives in Australia, but was born and educated in Prague, the city steeped in history and myths. She tried to recreate the fairytale atmosphere in her fantasy adventure book, Oriana, populated with unique characters based on the Czech fairy tales.
