Stephen Blake lives in Penzance, Cornwall with his wife, numerous cats and Frodo, the Border Collie.

He enjoys reading, watching films and T'ai Chi.

He's involved with a local writing group and another group where he takes the opportunity once a month to read his work out loud.

He's been writing properly since 2013. Concentrating initially on short stories before hopefully moving onto novels.

He writes, steampunk, fantasy, science-fiction and horror. Although lately he has been trying his hand at stories for children.

How was it for you?

2016, if you go by the news and social media, has been pretty horrible. Sometimes though you’ve got to look at your own smaller world, and judge a year more personally.
