Shirley, thank you for adding me to your Goodreads circle! I love meeting other authors!I'm from the Caribbean and many people think that means I live in paradise, but living on a farm like you do sounds pretty idyllic to me. :)
Looking forward to your reviews and recommendations.
Thank you. That is how I started my first novel. There was a patient that was ward of the state dying. Had no visitors at all. I stayed with him. As my book says "No one should die alone." Shirley ps I am a nurse from the old days and the work isn't as physical for them but a heck of a lot more paper work. I hope your mother has a blessed recovery!
Shirley, thank you so much for the invitation. Your professions of writing and nursing are dear to my heart. My grandmother was a nurse, training at Charity Hospital in New Orleans long, long ago. Right now I'm helping my mother recover from hip surgery and am filled with admiration anew for those professionals who tend the sick and injured.
Hello ShirleyLook forward to talking books

Hi Shirley,Thanks for the add! Noticed you had "Green Eggs and Ham" on your book list. I sang it to my kids with a modernist melody. Also, I wrote a poem, in the voice of my then toddler daughter, Jessamy, in the copy we gave to my then future second wife. Funny thing, but my daughter has become a very good poet herself, even teaching poetry for one of her summer jobs.
Enjoy GoodReads!
