Como Antropólogo no Museu Marítimo de Ílhavo participo nos projetos relacionados com a preservação do património imaterial em torno da cultura marítima. Enquanto investigador do CIEMar-Ílhavo tenho recolhido memórias em torno da pesca do bacalhau no Atlântico Norte pelos portugueses. Este projeto de História Oral pretende recolher e registar memórias das comunidades piscatórias do litoral português, de onde provêm muitos dos bacalhoeiros.

Como Autor colaborei com a Chiado Books na coletânea 'Liberdade - Antologia da Poesia Livre', publicada em 2021.

Em 2013 fundei com a minha esposa Fernanda Azuaje-Fidalgo a Tuong Tuong Company - www.TuongTuong.pt.
