Paris, Address Unknown, a psychological thriller set in mid-90s Paris, is my debut title.

Psychological thrillers have always fascinated me because they take normal people and drop them into unusual (and dangerous) situations. As readers, we can’t help asking ourselves: what would I do? And of course, we can’t stop turning the pages to find out how the characters in the story react.

I grew up in an English village, where I spent my childhood reading everything I could get my hands on and dreaming of big city life. After graduating from Oxford University, I moved first to London and then to Paris.

I read this book out of curiosity, after all the hype, but it just isn’t my cup of tea. I see why some people love it, as the fast pace did keep me turning the pages, wanting to find out what was going to happen. But the characters are paper thin and ...more

This is such an interesting premise, and it's beautifully executed. It reminds me of Kate Atkinson’s Life After Life, with both novels showing alternative versions of the characters’ lives, depending on which key decisions are taken. The Names demons ...more
