It's lovely to see so much interest in my book, thank you. And I'm totally up for a Somerset, ancient crafts group!

And, who knows, maybe an ancient crafts event can unfold in Somerset. :)

Paris, Address Unknown
Paris, 1995.
From the outside, Joanna’s life looks perfect. She’s living with her French boyfriend in Paris and earning a living teaching English. But underneath the surface she is drifting and lacking purpose.
When letters from America addressed to a stranger, Brad Wilson, start appearing in her mailbox, curiosity drives Joanna to open one. Instead of the romantic story she’d been expecting, she is disturbed to read that Brad is in hiding and may have committed a serious crime, possibly murder.
Driven by a tragedy in her past, Joanna is determined to track Brad down. She embarks on an obsessive search that becomes increasingly entwined with her personal life and the decisions she needs to make about her future. And since Brad Wilson doesn’t want to be found, Joanna is unwittingly putting herself in danger.
Paris, Address Unknown is a psychological thriller offering classic slow-burn suspense.
About Rachel
Rachel's family originally comes from Somerset. Fascinatingly, her Great Unle was the last withy grower in the Levels (interesting for me personally as my family tree includes basket-makers from the Somerset area too). Rachel grew up in Surrey and lived in London before moving to Paris in the 1990s – a trajectory that is reflected in her debut psychological thriller, Paris, Address Unknown.
She has been writing stories since childhood, but as an adult the demands of earning a living and raising a family gave her limited time and energy to devote to writing. With her children now grown-up and her working life entering a calmer phase, she’s found the time to fulfil that childhood dream of being a published author.
Rachel lives with her husband in the Paris area. Throughout her life, the Devon coastline has been a regular destination for holidays (both as a child and with her own children), and more recently visiting a son who studied at Exeter University. When she’s not writing, she can be found gardening, going for long walks, meeting up with friends or sitting on the sofa reading a book.
I have had the pleasure of reading Rachel's novel and am happy to say that she has offered two copies for a giveaway competition. To enter the draw simply respond to this post below by 5PM on Sunday 16th August. (UK only I'm afraid)
Good luck!
