Nick Vellis is the author of the highly acclaimed mystery thriller Dig Two Graves: Revenge or Honor. His second novel Death in Her Eyes was released in 2015.

Nick Vellis is a retired police Captain living in Gainesville, Florida. He started my law enforcement career in 1976 with the DeLand Florida Police Department. He moved to Gainesville, Fl and joined the University of Florida Police Department in 1979 promoting from Patrolman to Investigator and through the ranks eventually to the rank of Captain. He worked in a variety of roles and on several well known criminal cases.
