Clay Cormany is not a young adult, but he enjoys writing YA novels. The Secrets We Carry: Journal of a Girl in Trouble (Van Velzer Press, 2025) concerns a high school boy who, after finding her journal in his backpack, tries to rescue a female classmate in an abusive relationship. Because this story deals with sexual abuse, Clay is donating 2/3 of his book sale revenue to the Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network (RAINN) and the Ohio Domestic Violence Network.

Clay's first novel, Fast-Pitch Love (Clean Reads, 2014), combines the angst of teenage romance with softball competition. His second novel, The Bullybuster (KDP, 2019), also involves a teenage romance as well as robots and revenge. Besides authoring YA novels, Clay maintains a blog, ...more
