I, myself, am a singer/songwriter/actor who has recently turned author. I’ll also update news when I can for example; did you know that in March Silhouette Desires will be putting out their 2000th book? The authors are celebrating with a special blog on eHarlequin.com :).
For the Goodreads giveaway, you click on Explore at the top of the page, then click Authors. On that page, scroll down to see Book Giveaways. Click on those words and you will go to that main page. On the upper right corner, you will have the option to click "List a giveaway."From there, you will have to fill out the information on the page and Goodreads takes care of the rest. It's awesome. They even draw the winners for you.

Congrats on the book signing! Yay!Cheap publicity? The only way I've found to really get publicity that costs nothing is by paying with time. Chatting it up, meeting friends, etc. Know what I mean? It takes a lot of time though.
I've had some contests and giveaways that went over really well. I did one on Goodreads and had over 400 people sign up for it. It did so much better than I hoped for.

hi destiny --didn't get pounded with the snow like the US did --mind u BC could use some white stuff for the games --cypress is looking greener than it should.
I have ramped up the reading for a 144 book challenge so far have read 7 not sure if I will reach my ultimate goal but will be happy to get close to it. inmiddle of getting ready for a book signing at the end of february and want to get a couple of others underway--trying to get on an email campaign as well--what do u do for cheap publicity
