Hir Dulo is a pen name used in English by the famous Bulgarian writer Dobri Bozhilov. His books are very popular in his country, surpassing the leading world bestsellers in circulation. In Bulgaria, with a 6 million population, he has about 100,000 books sold. I.e. 1 in every 60 people living in the country has bought his book. This is the same as having 7 million sold in the US. It is interesting if he will succeed in doing the same with his English translations...
