Start writing and stick with it, even if your writing is bad at first. In fact, you should expect your writing to be bad at first. That's how it is for everyone. It takes time and practice to learn how to take an idea and turn it into a full-fledged story. It takes time to figure out what does and doesn't work for you. And it takes time for you to find your own individual writing voice. If you're in a hurry, you'll just end up frustrated. Take it step-by-step, day-by-day, and you'll get somewhere.(less)
