Yesterday was the one year anniversary of the horrible massacre at Walmart in El Paso. This occurred as I was writing the concluding parts of my latest book, Don't Fence Me In. I could not ignore this event because my book is set mostly in the El Paso area and focuses on crime, investigation, and bringing accused to justice. It gave me no pleasure whatever to include this event in the book. Please let me have your thoughts.

Eid blessings to all Muslims world wide. July 30 and 31 mark the second major celebration of Muslims, the Eid al Adha, which usually involves festive meals with family friends, including non-Muslim friends. Stay safe this year during the pandemic.

Please see my latest blog post in which I bring to life one of the locations in my books, Roanoke, Virginia. In previous posts, you have heard me say that the locations featured in my books are logical locations based on the plot. Some of the locations are a little obscure and I attempt to bring them to life.
This is the second in the series I am posting, this time Roanoke, Virginia. Please go back and read the first in this series, Alamogordo, New Mexico. Look for future posts featuring similar locations.
Your comments and feedback are always welcome.

Please read my latest blog post about legal systems in the US. The nature of legal systems in the US is discussed throughout all four of my books (the latest will be off the press any day now). The blog post is a response to an item which was posted on Facebook that foreign legal systems are not allowed in the U.S. The blog post explores this point in more detail. As usual, your feedback is very welcome.

Today, Aaron Zelinsky, U.S. attorney testified before the U.S. House of Representatives Judiciary Committee that upper levels of the U.S. Justice Department applied pressure in sentencing of Roger Stone to give lighter sentences than were given to other defendants for the same type of crime. He resigned because to do so would violate his oath of office under the U.S. Constitution states that he will provide equal justice under the law. In my latest book, Don't Fence Me In (due off the press any day now), a lead fictional character, acting head of a major U.S. Attorney General division, was told to pursue lighter sentences for one set of domestic terrorist defendants and harsher sentences to another set of defendants for the identical crime. The fictional acting division considers resigning because of his oath to provide equal justice. Once again, events that I was inspired to write fictionally a few months ago have become fact in very similar circumstances. Read the book, Don't Fence Me In, to see how the fictional division head dealt with the situation.
Today news media reported that top levels of the U.S. Department of Justice attempted to inappropriately interfere with U.S. Attorney prosecutors at district and division level to influence sentences. In my latest book, Don't Fence Me In, I wrote fictionally bout the top level of the U.S. Attorney General attempting to influence decisions by prosecutors with regard to sentences for domestic terrorists. The inspiration to write these events fictionally came well before the current activity was known.

Please read my latest blog post about news media documentation of Russian activity to take contradictory positions on the latest demonstrations in the U.S. to create collapse of the U.S. government and society. These documented activities are remarkably similar to what I wrote about fictionally in my latest book, Don't Fence Me In, that is due out any day now. Please let me have your comments and feedback. Please read the latest blog I have posted on my website HeathDanielsBooks.com Here I have posted the first in a series of blogs from time to time in which I tell more about locations that appear in my books. As I have mentioned, the locations come to me as inspirations because they follow logically from the story line; there is no attempt to promote a location. Nonetheless, when an inspiration for a location come to me, I attempt to bring life to what would often be an obscure location. Because of the interest in the state of New Mexico due to the Covid19 pandemic, the first location in my blog series is Alamogordo, New Mexico. Look for future posts from time to time for other locations. Please remember my giveaway. Because I have lived in many locations and have traveled to many more, many of the locations in my books are places where I have been. In my first three books there are only four locations where I have not been personally. When you identify all four, you will receive copies of all four of my books. When you identify three of the four, you will receive a copy of my latest book, Don't fence me in. Please send your responses to HeathDanielsAuthor@gmail.com
Enjoy reading my books and please give me your feedback.
