I am a middle child, known mostly for her brains and being ‘the-quiet-one’. So I’ve never really thought of myself as Beautiful. Don’t get me wrong, I have a healthy self-image. I think I’m cute, even pretty, just not beautiful. I’m good with cute. I’m short but curvy. I had to come to terms with my grandmother saying I had “filled-out” when I went away to college. Now, I just think she meant I grew from a Nearly-A to a respectable A/B cup.
Staring down 30 (okay, I’m only 28, but 30 is out there on the horizon), I am finally comfortable with -occasionally- being sexy. It takes the right outfit and shoes, maybe a little massacre, but I can look hot.
Today is one of those days. It’s not a special occasion, just a regular work day. Yet the weather is perfect. I am wearing clothes that I am comfortable in, both in how they fit and how I look.
It is a beautiful summer day and I feel d*mn sexy!
