My pleasure. I love reviewing (honestly and true to my opinion despite the trends!) and I love writing. Please visit my blog, lancegreenfield.wordpress.com, especially the little, amusing ditties on the Titbits page. Well, they succeed on making most of my followers COL (Chuckle Out Loud)..

Caroline Hi, Lance! Thank you for the friend-vite! : ]

Thanks Jo Ann ❤

I really hope that you'll like my first stab at an anthology, or a published book of any kind, when it eventually comes out. I really am working hard on finishing it off!

In the meantime, have a few little chuckles at my short stories at the bottom of my profile.

Jo Ann wow!

It's funny looking back on it!

Cdr: Who are you?
Denise: (jumping up, totally naked, standing to attention and responding) Wren Clarke, Sir, HMS Raleigh!

I could've died!

Cdr: See you at 8 o'clock in my office, Mister Mitchell!
Me: Yes sir.

Lol, that'll teach you for sneaking her in!!! Amsterdam was wonderful thank you and the sex museum was a real eye opener, as was the red light district!!! Beautiful city though. :)

message 38: by Lance

Lance Greenfield No. I was stationed at HMS Thunderer - RNEC Manadon - Crownhill. It was closed down years ago.

I did go out with a Wren from HMS Raleigh though. She was a cook/chef called Denise Clarke, who was gorgeous. Her presence in my cabin at 3 am when the Commander came knocking on my door led to disciplinary action: just a reprimand. If she'd just stayed under the sheets and not [automatically] sprung to attention when he walked in, I'd've got away with it!

message 37: by Sarah

Sarah Ahh you must have been stationed in HMS Raleigh/Devonport Dock yard then, my father was there also.....small world.

I promise I will check out your short stories soon but I am off to Amsterdam on Tuesday so I won't be on GR for a little while.....I'm not sure how I will cope, I'm a complete GR addict!! :)

Lance Greenfield Chloe wrote: "Lance, enjoyed the reviews slipped in a long file from Goodreads into my inbox today. xx C"

I finished Girl Trade a few days ago. I gave it 4 stars as I really enjoyed it. I usually write my reviews straight away, but I am extremely busy with work. I am currently in Munich. On Saturday I am going to our company HQ in Naples, Florida, for two weeks.

You might say, "How wonderful!" But I will be working hard, including weekends and evenings. I am presenting some deep technical training to new colleagues from around the world. We will have fun, because I am leading, but I won't have time to write my glowing (cheeks!) review, until I return. Sorry about that.

Chloe Thurlow Lance, enjoyed the reviews slipped in a long file from Goodreads into my inbox today. xx C

message 31: by Lance

Lance Greenfield Hi Chloe.
I have read and reviewed at least three of your books, and given you a sideways mention in my review of another book where I know you made a cameo appearance on the cover.
Hopefully, you will reciprocate with a review of my first ever publication when it hits the streets this summer.
Your writing both arouses me and makes me laugh!
Best wishes,
Lance

message 30: by Chloe

Chloe Thurlow I received a list of your reviews at my email address today and was impressed by the quality and range - Sebastian Faulks is also one of my favorites, along with Milan Kundera, Gabriel Garcia Marques....and on and on. I am looking forward to seeing one of my novels on that list one day x

Not a problem. My Dad always encouraged me to query everything and to get to the root of anything that I did not understand. I love finding out...

Not offended at all. I didn't think I was either, but somebody recommended thus one to me, and it's a shortie, so I thought I'd give it a go. I was pleasantly surprised!

A few months ago, I was trying to initiate a discussion on scales for judging erotica, rather than reviewers just saying this is S-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O HOT!!!!!

Pardon me, for I am a statistician.

My proposals were:

Heat factor from iceberg cold to volcanic eruption.
Moistness factor from Kalahari Desert to Niagara Falls.

I am sure that you could do better. Perhaps you would like to initiate such a discussion on one of the groups of which you are a member?

I'd be excited to find out what your friends think, and I would be aiming to hit the top of every scale that you all invent....

Oh Lance you are too sweet. It's so exciting that you are writing erotica and that you hope to make the Smokin Hot Dripping Wet Shelf! Just remember women love lots of foreplay and details. Nice long love scenes with lots of tongue, fingers and ----..LOL...Hahahaha. Please let me know when your book is finished. I would love to read it!

Madeleine Oh, goodness, I am so sorry for the delay in responding to your friendvitation, which came with one of the best challenge-question answers I've ever received. I hope you're well and definitely look forward to getting to know you and your reading habits!

Megs ♥ Hey Lance! :) Thanks for adding me to your friends! Did you really want to be my friend or did you just want 69 friends? Inappropriate, Meghan!...Sorry Lance. :p

message 9: by Lance

Lance Greenfield Hi Reiko.
Thanks for the comments. Much appreciated.
I hadn't realised that my writing could be so thought-provoking!
One important factor that you missed: how much did it turn you on (if at all)? You could send me a message to answer that, if you like.
Are you taking a look at An African Massage?
Cheers,
Lance

message 8: by Reiko

Reiko Ito Hi, I read your "on the Altar". I was very impressed by variety factors on this story.
It starts with poetic and solemn atmosphere, and then moves to "naked" on the altar, bringing me to surprise.
Antitheses there, Sacrament and Beast, Ideal and Reality, and so on. I felt that we would be just only a creation which is thinking too much.
