Thank you for adding me. It is only 30 to 38 below in the winter. We had the worst winter ever this year, and lost many lives. In the summer lately it has been 100 to 148! :)Right now we are having the worst flood of our life time.

Of course, you are right about Chrichton--Cretaceous probably would have been more accurate. But, as with most popular fiction, Jurassic sounds cooler! I love the book because it lets me tie in science and mathematics into my English curriculum. =)

Thank you for the comment! I do agree that certain religions discourage women from having opinions and that certainly doesn't fit my nature and characteristics. So don't worry, I'll stay away from those types and keep writing reviews. Maybe I'll actually find someone who agrees with me someday?

Thank you, Daniel. I have put a few of my small "writing bits" on this site but, have recieved little feedback. Writing is such a solitary art. But, I love doing it. My novel is coming along- but it is no simple task with three young children, however, I am determined.I appreciate your kind words of encouragement.

My favorite books are from secondhand shops and the annual public library sale. I have to add them manually on this site because they have no ISBNs. I usually try to put the Library of Congress Control Number (LCN) for the book when I create the record on here.

I'm looking at the floor-to-ceiling shelves here in my library, and I just get overwhelmed by the number of book entries that I will have to create manually on goodreads for these books. There are over 2000 books in this room alone, and most of them not represented yet in my "My Books" list on goodreads. All in good time, I suppose.
